The short version
Be civil, be specific, and add something useful: a correction, a real experience, a question, or a helpful link. Do not post spam, promotional links, hate speech, harassment, or abuse.
Moderation
Comments may be held for review before they appear. A comment may be edited only to remove policy-breaking content or fix formatting, or removed entirely if it breaks this policy. Repeat offenders may be blocked from commenting further.
Links in comments
Links that support a point, such as a source or a relevant guide, are welcome. Self-promotional, affiliate, and unrelated site links will be removed.
Names and privacy
Use a consistent name. Do not publish anyone else’s private information, such as an email address, phone number, or home address, in a comment.
Corrections through comments
If a guide is wrong, say what is wrong and give evidence. Verified errors are fixed in the guide itself, not only in the comments.
