User onboarding tools are designed to prepare, promote, optimize, and present an onboarding masterpiece. This software can be of different types, like no-code flow builders and advanced data analyzers.

1. Overflow

Overflow is trending among big designers in coordinating their business graphics. The platform has unlimited features to present a smooth flow of designs and diagrams. Big names like Netflix, Amazon, Facebook, and Disney all use the overflow.io platform for new users. With it, you can even transfer and share your data on other platforms such as Figma, Photoshop, etc.

Designing on Overflow is straightforward and displayed on preview using other apps. The editor styles feature recent updates such as connectors, shapes, and texts. You can navigate different displaying tabs by clicking sensitive areas on the artboard.

You can also store your designs on iCloud and share work with your team through a link. Likewise, collecting client feedback is easy with the feedback section, which allows commenting, engagement, and studying users’ behavior.

2. Chameleon

SaaS teams use Chameleon to create perfect onboarding that targets features, product launch, and feedback. It also increases product outreach without coding knowledge, so it will still notify the application owner of customer behavioral changes without asking them to input codes. The users are segmented to easily analyze data through product tours, in-product widgets, surveys, and tooltips.

Chameleon also features an audio-to-visual function, allowing users to convert audio files to videos. Moreover, it has a personal tool for recording your users and their interactions. The app’s lowest package is 200 users at $279 monthly. However, the platform is considered the cheapest, unlike other platforms with the same functions.

3. Wistia

Wistia is a video utilizer platform mostly used by B2B marketers. It can create and convert onboarding videos, which allows you to enjoy distinctive features such as brandable players, analytics, customizable galleries, lead generation, and conversion tools.

The lead generation enables a new user to collect email and share links and CTAs. Users can enjoy hosting videos and streaming them live through the in-built channels, and Wistia will analyze the reaction and interaction to create better videos and strategies. It has a free plan but has limited features and allows only 3 videos. You’ll have to spare $99 each month to remain on the paid plan.

4. Otto

Otto is designed as an email platform but has advanced features for other stuff. It enables users to create unlimited in-app messages, record a client’s reactions, inform a client about products, and collect feedback on a client’s experiences. Although the app is suitable for email onboarding, it has features that analyze customers’ behavior.

The customer data feature collects information from your customer’s integration, such as likes, dislikes, comments, etc. You can categorize the audience into different segments to understand them better.

Otto also has a tracking feature to monitor customer journeys used for market automation. Moreover, you will have nothing to fear from hackers as your data is stored in robust security integration. The privacy section is reasonable and straightforward to protect the information of users and others involved in the process.

5. Maze

Maze is designed to be a testing platform. Whereas other software enables a user to understand customer behavior through analytic tools, Maze allows a user to test the product through the customers by providing a segment where customers can test your product.

The customers use the product and send feedback to the user through the platform’s in-built messaging measure. The process is made easy with the testing and prototyping tool, and you can customize the in-app test to be simple or dynamic, share, receive, and send test or survey results to users. The monthly platform plan is $33 for two seats.
